Alice has been singing since she was very young. At 13 she went to live in the West Indies and had her first musical encounters there. She discovered her taste for jazz, Gospel and sang in her first group of compositions, (1st prize of “La Pointe aux Etoiles” at the initiative of the group Kassav’). In 2000, she was a semi-finalist in the “Graines de Star” competition.
Back in France, Alice sang in the Women’s Choir of the Junior Opera with the National Orchestra of Montpellier and that of Radio France then joined the JAM (Regional School of Jazz and Contemporary Music) in vocal jazz and saxophone.
The same year, she joined the Equinoxe Company, which performed on major national stages (Zéniths, Palais des Festivals de Cannes, Théâtre Antique d’Orange, Sporting Club in Monaco, etc.).
At the same time, she continued her music studies at the Nîmes Conservatory in lyric singing.
In 2010, Alice sang in the album “Voices” by Jean-Pierre LLabador then entered the IMFP in Salon-de-Provence (Musical Institute of Professional Training) in voice and piano.
She sang as a backing singer for Emmanuel Djob after her appearance on the show “The Voice” and in the group “Brazilia Jazz Quintet” (Sega Seck, Bénilde Foko and Francis Rabeson). With this project they will play in Senegal and in different festivals in France.
She then sang alongside the renowned Brazilian composer, singer and guitarist Paulinho Lêmos, then created the duo “Alice n’ Lo” with the talented guitarist Laurent Zullo with whom they played at numerous weddings and event evenings.
A few years later she created “Duo Lua Brasil” with Julien Asencio.
Julien began as a drummer and studied at the Conservatory with René Nan (drummer of Nougaro, Eddy Louis, etc.) with whom he would later have the opportunity to play in a jazz trio and quartet. He will then continue his musical studies on the piano and at the same time on the trombone and then the trumpet.
